The Faculty of Hotel Management and Tourism in Vrnjačka Banja has developed an open innovation platform designed to connect hotels, restaurants, travel agencies, tourist attractions, destination management organizations, local municipalities, and other relevant stakeholders with students, multidisciplinary teams, and innovation centers. The platform facilitates the development of innovative solutions to real-world challenges common to the tourism and hospitality industry.

The platform is open to voluntary participation by interested parties from the Republic of Serbia as well as partner countries. It encourages tourism and hospitality professionals on one side, and students, IT specialists and other contributors on the other side, to propose or develop innovative ideas to solve problems and enhance destination attractiveness.

EOITN project’s partner universities are encouraged to integrate the platform into the teaching process, fostering active engagement in open innovation activities. This approach supports students in developing creativity, applying their knowledge in practice, and strengthening their innovation skills. As a result, the teaching process is expected to be enhanced and aligned with the evolving requirements of the labour market.
