A round table entitled “Challenges in the Development of Open Innovation in the Tourism Destination of Vrnjačka Banja”, organised at the Faculty of Hotel Management and Tourism in Vrnjačka Banja, brought together key stakeholders from the destination with the aim of exchanging knowledge, experiences, and ideas to foster innovation in tourism.

During the discussion, participants highlighted the importance of cooperation between educational institutions and the business sector, the role of knowledge and new technologies in developing tourism products and services, and the need to strengthen open innovation networks that support the sustainable development of Vrnjačka Banja as a modern tourism destination.

The discussion concluded that networking among key actors and maintaining continuous dialogue are essential steps toward creating an innovative, competitive, and sustainable tourism environment. The round table was recognized as an important platform for initiating future joint activities and projects focused on the implementation of innovations in tourism.
